Dr Jackson founded Ausio Pharmaceuticals in 2006. He currently serves as president and CEO. He earned his PhD in microbiology at the University of Illinois and served on the staff at Brookhaven National Laboratory and the National Institutes of Health. He was a professor at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr Jackson has held executive research positions at Marion Merrell Dow, Wyeth, and Atrix Laboratories, and was president and CEO of EmerGen Laboratories. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Ausio, Oncothyreon, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (Therapeutic Acceleration Program). His previous board appointments included Immunex, Inflazyme Pharmaceuticals, Biomira, and Viron Therapeutics (Chairman).

Dr Schwen is vice president of Regulatory Affairs at Ausio Pharmaceuticals. After receiving his PhD in pharmacology from the University of Minnesota, Dr Schwen joined Procter and Gamble’s drug research organization, where he gained 23 years of hands-on experience in drug discovery (four patents), toxicology, and regulatory affairs. After retiring from Procter and Gamble, Dr Schwen held management positions at Kendle International (vice president, Global Regulatory, Safety and Clinical Quality Assurance), Parexel International (vice president, Regulatory Affairs/Americas), and Strategic Regulatory Consulting (vice president, Safety and Regulatory Affairs). Dr Schwen serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy; he is board certified in both toxicology and regulatory affairs and is a member of the Cincinnati Board of Health.

Dr Greiwe is the Associate Director of Clinical Development at Ausio Pharmaceuticals, LLC.  After graduating from Indiana University, he received a MS degree from Ball State University and a PhD from Southern Illinois University.  He completed his post-doctoral training at Washington University School of Medicine.  Prior to joining Ausio Pharmaceuticals, Dr Greiwe held positions at Medpace, Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals and LBR Regulatory and Clinical Consulting Services.
